President Minnie Pearson
A lifelong Champaign-Urbana resident, educator, and community leader, Minnie Pearson has dedicated more than 30 years to public education and youth mentorship. A life member of the NAACP, she previously served as First Vice President and now leads the Champaign County Branch in her second term as President. Through her leadership and decades of service, she advances the mission of equity, empowerment, and justice while continuing a lifelong commitment to strengthening community and expanding opportunity for all.
